There is no shame in falling off of a lupus or lupus nephritis treatment plan!  Treatments can be very difficult, and of course, sometimes life just gets in the way.  The key is to get back on track … and that takes a plan!

In this video, Megan M. Lockwood, MD, a clinical rheumatologist and Director of the Lupus Program at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, provides a brief overview of lupus, lupus nephritis and what a lupus nephritis treatment plan can entail.  Dr. Lockwood also describes why it is so easy to fall off a treatment plan, and provides great insights and tips for how to get “back on track.”  Her advice is honest, practical and guaranteed guilt-free!

Presenter: Megan M. Lockwood, MD, is clinical rheumatologist, Lupus Program Director, Division of Rheumatology, Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University.
